After spending most of the Easter weekend sewing, we finished my version of River Song's Zeeda dress!

I also managed to find a wide belt in one of the charity shops. Tried on the whole ensemble last night, ammo pouch, torch, belts, holster, vortex manipulator and boots, and it looks very cool :) Also finished altering a blue dress for a TARDIS costume, adding moon/stars/swirls ribbon to the bottom and the bow at the neck. That'll be finished off with a white alice band with flowers, a silver cardigan and some jewellery. Not really got time for pictures before this weekend's Hub, as I do of course have to pack, but they'll follow, soon!

So my brother, his girlfriend and I trekked off to Cardiff for Friday night (we saw the water tower and the Torchwood shrine :) ) and Saturday, and it was fabulous :)

There were people in show-made costumes wandering about, while we were in the queue to get in. We saw this toddler hide behind their mum's legs, at the sight of a Silurian in mask and armour. We got a bag full of goodies on registering: postcards, badge & lanyard, program, souvenir ticket and even a series 5 DVD! ( much more behind the cut )

Hub 8 will be the last one for the forseeable future :(
